About the Tour
First: Gentle hike to beautiful falls

We meet at the trailhead of a favorite local waterfall for a gentle one-mile hike to the falls. We'll hike through a beautiful green canopy of coniferous trees until we get to the picturesque view of the 135-foot falls. The trail meanders along the river, with the calming sounds of trickling creeks and rushing water.

Want to bring your family along? This is a perfect hike for young children - not too long with several opportunities along the trail to get our feet wet in the river. At the falls, there is a gushing river that kids enjoy skipping and throwing rocks into.

You'll definitely want a tripod to allow for slow shutter speed shots that capture the beautiful smoky effect of the falls. A Neural Density Filter will allow us to slow down the water without overexposing the shot.

Note: On weekends, this tour starts at 8 a.m. in order to beat the crowds.

Second: Snoqualmie Falls

We'll drive to Snoqualmie Falls, a breathtaking double waterfall more than 100 feet taller than Niagara Falls. Featured on Twin Peaks in the 1990s, this site sees more than 1.5 million visitors each year.

The Snoqualmie Falls site is fully wheelchair accessible, and the viewing platform is 250 feet from the parking area.

After our Snoqualmie photo session, we'll head to a local coffee shop to review our shots. Your guide will be happy to walk through important Lightroom editing tips to help you get the most out of your photos.

When you book, please indicate if you would like to rent any equipment. Your guide will pickup and drop off your chosen equipment for the trip.

All rental equipment is provided by Glazer's Camera Rentals in Seattle. Explore their rental prices to customize your gear for the ultimate waterfall photography experience.
