In this half-day photo tour, we'll watch as the bald eagles compete with great blue herons and other eagles for food.

About the Tour
We'll meet at a large oyster bed on the Kitsap peninsula.
The oyster beds attract bald eagles, great blue heron, seagulls, and other birds because as the tide recedes, small fish get trapped in the shallow beds. This spot was the location of a National Geographic wildlife photo of the year finalist a few years back.
First on the scene are the heron and gulls. The tide slowly goes out, and we see our first bald eagles swooping in to look for easy prey. Eventually, as many as 20-30 eagles may join the action.
We will photograph eagles in flight, snapping up fish, and often eagle fights as they compete for food.
With a wing span that can reach 7' across, they soar against the evergreen trees making for a wildlife photographer's dream.

Cancellation Policy
We have a 7 day prior to arrival cancellation policy. If you notify us that you are canceling your reservation at least 7 days before your scheduled tour, there is no fee and your deposit will be refunded. If you cancel within 7 days before your scheduled tour, a cancellation fee of $25.00 per participant will be charged.
There is no fee to reschedule a tour.
